It maintains an enriched database of investors (funds and angels), lets you filter them by thesis, stage, sector, and geography, and builds richer profiles using AI and public web sources. From a shortlist you can map warm introduction paths through your network and prepare personalised email outreach.

How Prospector uses your Google account data

Connecting your Gmail account is optional and only used for outreach. When you connect it, Prospector requests access to:

  • Create email drafts in your mailbox — the personalised investor outreach you prepare in Prospector is saved as a draft for you to review and send yourself.
  • Detect sent messages and replies related to your outreach — so Prospector can mark a message as sent, capture the conversation, and update your pipeline.

Prospector accesses only the messages relevant to your outreach activity. It does not sell your data, does not use it for advertising, and does not share your Google user data with third parties except sub-processors needed to run the service.
